Steve you are totally correct. I have never had a more miserable time than the few years after selling Arts Hub, not doing anything. Financial independence and a model to sustain that is the key – then after that choose what kinds of work/projects you want to be part of and just make sure they don’t eat into your personal economic model. Everyone I know who retired early either became seriously depressed or a royal pain the backside to everyone around them. Work is good – just do the right work for you.
