I asked a group of trusted colleagues an opinion for my upcoming launch campaign. The question was: If you could pick any celebrity to be seen using our new product, who would it be?
Than answers were many and varied, but everyone included Paris Hilton.
She is either the smartest girl on the planet or the luckiest.

Does Paris potray the right image for our brand at launch? Rarely.
Not everyone … I suggest you really just wanted an excuse to look up Paris Hilton on the internet to find a pic to add to this post … Did we manage to find a certain video and peruse it in the process?? Go on admit it ….

Considering brand identity, if the product you are about to ‘release’ (pun intended), is diamond studded underwear…..maybe she’d be your poster girl…..er,…or,.. Oh was that the Britney issue?…..oops, here I go again, mixing up Brands already!………
Spare yourself the confusion. Try a something a little more grounded. People like products like that.

I have no intention of going after Paris. Just trying to provide an inight. We’ll be very grassroots with our launch. A function of our values as marketers and it’s smarter and cheaper to launch a brand in this way.

We’ve been watching Paris Hilton’s BFF. Where do they come across these people? They are from another world!
