We are modern day entrepreneurs. We cut new ground and bring change. We need to act a little bit like rockstars – rockstars of a new genre. Like rockstars we need self belief which borders upon arrogance.
We need attitude. We can’t fake it.
We can’t act like employees
Employees are conformists
Conformists never change the world
We’re bringing change
We are not conformists
I agree that we need bouyant optimism to succeed!
But if we get too close to arrogance, thinking that we are the livin’ end, we can fall into the trap of thinking that client and customer exist to serve our needs. When in truth, we exist to serve them.

While it can be difficult to break out of the “employee” attitude, it’s vital to keep whistling a happy tune to see me through the more difficult times.
I know it’s a bit trite to say that all challenges are opportunities, but that’s really the mind set I have to have. If I didn’t see things that way, I wouldn’t be much of an entrepreneur.
