Modern society is fixed. Not to prevent the strong from winning, but to prevent the weak from losing.
The entire economy is rigged to protect its weakest link, just like a convoy of ships must sail at the speed of the slowest ship so that they all may remain in formation.

I’m not sure I agree entirely.
Those who are able to understand the economic system and have the motivation to take advantage of it benefit the most. This would be the strong winning.
Those who don’t understand the system, refuse to understand the system or just don’t have the motivation to take advantage of it end up losing. This tends to be the weak. Or perhaps their is a third category The Ignorant and the Stupid.
