Micro Project – funded via twitter

I just launched this micro project via twitter:

Which was on a whim at midnight. And already we have 15 people signed up by 10am.

It’s not a secret project, but it’s a one off so I can’t share all the of details yet because it can only be done once. What I can say is the following:

– It’s never been done before, a world first.

– It will cost around $20,000.

– It will make the participants famous (I’m predicting over 1 million youtube views & mega news coverage).

– It has an ‘eco’ edge to it.

– It is cool, awesome, fun, an event and will be the best story you can own.

– If you are serious about participating we can chat about the details.

– If you’re in a tech, webby, media, startup, innovation field – it will be a massive credential builder.

– When it is complete – there will be an awesome party to celebrate.

Finally it is risky. There is no direct financial return. Your investment is in the doing, meaning the money wont return. But I’m sure it will be worth the investment in your personal brand.

So tell me, are you in?

  1. No pictures… I’m booking my first class flights to Panama now… I jest.

Actually – it seems more likely to be $500 now due to overwhelming demand. The project is V cool. People who participate will be recongised on an ‘official list’ on the page which ‘launches the project’ to the world as visionaries – so that the true participants are known, rather than people who claim ‘interest’ but never ponied up.

It’s gold baby. Prospectus going out tomorrow as 1 page PDF. People can then decide.
    Steve.

  2. Hi Steve.
It seems like a nice idea and even better coming from you dude.
I’d love to now more about it
Looking forward to get the prospectus PDF.
    All the best

  3. I am interested in participating as well! Sounds very exciting. If your LEGO flight is any indication then I’m very interested. Please send me the prospectus as well.

  4. In this economy when it comes to startups…banks still are reluctant to shell out cash to new businesses. I did find one company specializes in startups and even acquisition loans: bizfundinggroup.com

I just thought I’d share this with your readers since we’re all in the startup game!

    Thanks!
